Get Fit for Valentine's Day in Personalized Trainers

Paint pens, Sharpie markers and a pair of plain trainers are all you need to make feet fit for Valentine's Day.  Marks and Spencer, where I bought these, has a constant variety of trainers available, but trainers are popular and available nearly everywhere these days.  Any permanent marker will do but these are a few of my favorites:  Sharpie, Uni PAINT, STA Acrylic Painter, Artline 700 High Performance, Artline 750 Marker for Laundry, Zebra NAME Pen, SimbaLion Paint Marker and Sakura Paint.  Be careful when using oil based, paint markers on canvas because they tend to bleed.  Test them on a small piece of fabric first.

You can paint just the toe or go for it and paint the entire shoe.  Think about how they will be viewed as you walk in them like I did with the ones above.  The verse starts on the outside of the left shoe and finishes on the inside heel of the right shoe.  Copy mine or search the internet for inspiration.  Timid?  Sketch you designs out of paper, then use a chalk pencil or a disappearing ink marker, available at all fabric stores, to draw your design on the shoes before painting them with the permanent markers.

Have fun with it and Happy Valentine's Day!
